Uth Magazine :

Uth Magazine
Client : Dublin North East Drugs Task Force
The Uth magazine aims to raise awareness around issues that young people highlight as being important them. We put together cultural articles, entertainment news and fun pages to ensure that there is something for everyone, while at the same time promoting important messages.

This magazine  subconsciously tackles issues regarding drug addiction and other problems that young people in Dublin may have.

it was vital to distance the magazine from the usual "preachy" anti - drug campaigns, that young people are routinely exposed to through out their youth.

Instead we created a Branded magazine with a High Street Glossy look,
which looked at troubled celebs and real issues ie: problem pages, the response from the public was overwhelming, it has been heralded as a  breath of fresh air amongst all the dreary negative awareness publications.

The ethos is simple promote youth life & youth culture.

To Illustrate Architecture through Typography

The first woman to win the Pritzker Prize for Architecture in its 26 year history, ZAHA HADID (1950-) has defined a radically new approach to architecture by creating buildings, such as the Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art in Cincinnati, with multiple perspective points and fragmented geometry to evoke the chaos of modern life. This fragmented geometry was a key factor in this publication, for me it was paramount that the editorial design reflected Hadid's architecture. Thus the fragmented typographic grid system almost a skeletal blueprint of a modern building.
